Whispers of Spring

Saturday was a gorgeous day, you know, the kind we should be having since it is now April.  Instead, the high today is supposed to be 45 degrees.  Really?!  That's the best you could do April?  Anyway, back to Saturday.  It was a beautiful day so Antoine and I decided to head over to Spring Grove Cemetery and see if anything was blooming yet.  Not much was, but all over the grounds there were little hints of Spring.  And at this point, I'll take what I can get!

After our walk around Spring Grove, we treated ourselves to a little Melt goodness (while still staying under calories)!  I spent the rest of the weekend reading.  I finally finished the second book in the Millennium trilogy, which I found a little slow in the beginning but it picked up about half way through.  I decided to take a little break before I start the third/final book, so I started the Divergent series.  Yesterday we spent most of the day working on my edible book!  I'm pretty proud of how it turned out this year, but more on that later!

How was your weekend?  Did you get outside on Saturday and do something fun?

  1. Beautiful photos. Spring may be here after all. I am looking forward to the edible book photos. Let me know what you think of the Divergent series.

    1. Thanks, Helene! Can't wait to hang out with you and Michelle at the end of the month! Oh, and I'm about half way through book two of the Divergent series and I really like it so far. I'm not sure if I like it quite as much as Hunger Games, but it's pretty good. And it's kind of intense like Hunger Games, so it keeps your attention.
